TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of CNC machines and robotic controls (Fanuc) to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Utilize your 2-5 years of experience working on CNC machines to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, conduct preventive maintenance, and implement corrective actions.
- Independently lead maintenance projects, from planning and coordination to execution and final testing, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced efficiency within the maintenance workflow.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including repair logs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
- Train and mentor junior technicians in CNC machine maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Operate within established safety guidelines, consistently prioritizing safety in all maintenance tasks.
- Demonstrate the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods while performing maintenance tasks.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in CNC technology and robotic controls, integrating new knowledge into daily maintenance operations.
COMPETENCIES/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience working on CNC machines, with a deep understanding of their mechanical and electrical components.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing robotic controls, specifically Fanuc systems.
- Proven ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods during maintenance tasks.
- Strong project management skills, with the capability to independently lead projects and see them through to successful completion.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail in diagnosing and rectifying technical issues.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and train junior technicians.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records, documentation, and parts inventory.
- A commitment to safety protocols and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training is a plus.
