Service Electrician

BP Aero Maintenance Team is looking for an experienced Electrician to add to our team, new team members will need to undertake a variety of tasks relating to installation and maintaining electrical infrastructure. This job will involve installing electrical wiring in buildings, raceway installation, building electrical infrastructure, troubleshooting, etc. The ideal candidate must be experienced in different types of electrical installation and systems. Pay will be determined on skill level and validated experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Trouble Shooting
• Install safety and distribution components (e.g. disconnects, breaker panels, transformers etc.)
• Installation of lighting fixtures, control systems, and EMS.
• Day to day operations of the Service Department
• Meet with customers and complete work orders.
• Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical and electronic systems, circuits, and equipment.
• Ability to take on other maintenance tasks in a team environment.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency calls for electrical repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical problems in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Building Maintenance Electrician.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
• Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must hold a valid electrician’s license with TLDR.
