TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accountant with full cycle accounting experience using ERP system.   This position will provide accounting support to the controller and the finance department.  This position is responsible for the timely and accurate recording of transactions in the general ledger.  This position will be responsible for the recording of fixed assets and accurate record keeping of fixed assets, payroll posting, recording daily bank transactions including multi company inter-company transactions, working in a positive manner with internal and external customers regarding transactions and reporting, accurate record keeping, preparing and recording inventory cycle counts.  This position is also responsible for the following:   journal entries throughout the month including month end, balance sheet reconciliation across multiple entities, assist with bank reconciliations for multiple entities, prepaid entries and accrued expense entries.  The successful applicant will be a team player and possess the following:  positive attitude, good work ethic, strong excel skills, experience with multi-company inter-company accounting, good verbal and written communication skills, be dependable and demonstrate attention to detail.  Strong understanding of the accounting cycle, balance sheet and income statement.

• Investigate and resolve transaction variances in a timely manner
• Inventory and WIP Cost Adjustments
• Recoding fixed asset entries and maintaining fixed asset records
• Preparing and Overseeing Inventory Cycle Counts
• Journal entries including those for month end
• Prepaid & Accrued expense entries
• Strong understanding of inter-company transactions across multiple entities

REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrate attention to detail
• Understanding of inter-company accounting across multiple entities
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Applications including very strong excel skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting with at least 3 years of experience
